Broadcast graphics company Moov has extended its services into managing outside broadcasts with a three-year deal with the Professional Squash Association (PSA) to provide production services for its World Tour events.

Director Nev Appleton said: “Moov has 15 years’ experience working in live sport production. This has given us the invaluable insight that has allowed us to expand into the production services sector.”

The first event in the contract was the JP Morgan Tournament of Champions which took place earlier this month inside Grand Central Terminal in New York City (pictured).

Appleton said Moov would focus on similar-sized projects that require a “streamlined, economical but high-quality production, but as we expand our experience and resources we will also look at bigger projects”.

Moov contracted Timeline TV to design, build and operate the flyaway kit which includes Panasonic cameras and fibre system, a Blackmagic Design ATEM switcher, a Newtek 3Play slow motion system and a Clearcom talkback setup.

Timeline TV managing director Dan McDonnell said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Moov on this long-term contract with the PSA.

“Our expertise and heritage in outside broadcast, system integration and on the ground operations will help Moov bring these exciting tournaments to squash fans around the world.”
