Brief Complete full post-production on a one-off documentary in which a pathology team conduct a post-mortem on the body of a 17-stone woman.

How it was done Using Baselight, colourist Enge Gray gave the show a sombre, low-key grade to enhance the reality of the post-mortem and the natural hues and tones of the dissection.

Because only ambient light was available, Baselight’s noise reduction tool was used extensively.

In the online, Simon Cruse used Flame to create all the titles and graphics.

For the sound, Ben Hooper used Pro Tools HD12 and an Avid S6 console to mix the show, and restorations plug-ins from iZotope and Waves to enhance the recorded audio.

This was complemented with additional Foley and atmos work to create a clinical soundscape.
