Last night’s Royal Television Society (RTS) Craft & Design Awards were dominated by the Olympics, with coverage and work promoting the 2012 Games scooping three awards.

Awards were made in a total of 22 categories, from costume design and digital effects to editing and lighting.

The Design & Craft Innovation award went to the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony Production Team, while BBC Sport picked up the Judges’ Award for its London 2012 coverage and The Graphic Design Trails & Packaging award went to Passion Pictures and Red Bee Media for their BBC 2012 creative.

BBC dramas White Heat and The Fades scooped three awards each.
