Brief Post-production for the coming-of-age single drama about a soldier in the Royal Army Medical Core serving in Afghanistan.

How it was done The drama was shot with an Arri Alexa on location in London and at the Pirbright military base, where some of the offline edit was completed.

The rest of the offline was completed at the BBC Elstree facility using Avid Media Composer.

The cut was then passed to the team at BBC Television Centre, where it was graded on the Nucoda Film Master by colourist Chris Packham.

The programme’s high-end visual effects were created by Gerry Lindfield using Autodesk Smoke at BBC Studios and Post Production’s Charlotte Street facility, where the sound design and dubbing was crafted in Avid Pro

Tools by Steve Chase.
