Brief Provide the online, audio dub and colour grade on the 4 x 60-minute series in which celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay visits Spain and France to help expats with their failing restaurants.
How it was done As the series takes place in sunny holiday destinations, colourist Tim O’Brien used Baselight to grade the GVs of the beachside areas to enhance them, making them warmer by using ‘hyper’ colours to accentuate the heat of each location. These warm shots were then juxtaposed with scenes from the restaurants in crisis, which were given a more sombre grade. Editor Mark Sangster completed the online edit using Avid Symphony, while dubbing mixer Michael Wood finished the audio in ProTools.
