Broadcast rental firm Shooting Partners has been sold by company founders Phil White and Sue Robinson to a team of six of its directors in a management buyout.

The business, which includes audio visual rental company Anna Valley, has been bought by employees Steve Jones, Nick Hart, Mark Holdway, Peter Jones, Tim Oliver and Shaun Wilton.

Jones said: “Even though the ownership of the business has changed, this will not have any impact on our customers, service or relationships.

“We have all been closely involved with the management and operation of the business for many years and have been preparing for this change for many months, so we are confident of achieving a seamless transition.”

White and Robinson, who founded Shooting Partners in 1989, will continue to take an “active role” within the business.

Shooting Partners credits include Googlebox, Hunted and Undercover Boss, while Anna Valley’s projects include BBC Sports Personality of the Year, the X Factor and the BBC’s general election coverage.
