Brief Post-production for the doc about a female pilot following in the footsteps of Lady Heath - the first person to fly solo from Cape Town to London.

How it was done The footage captures the spectacular African scenery and the challenging adventure Tracey Curtis-Taylor experienced.

Live-action footage was augmented by archive shots of early female pilots including Lady Heath.

Colourist Matt Eversfield graded the film in Nucoda, ensuring the cinematic quality of the doc by enhancing colours and balancing tones where required.

Eversfield then onlined in Avid Symphony Nitris.

The audio was mixed by Matt Cheney. Location recordings of the pilot’s Stearman plane were used and the iZotope RX bundle of plug-ins helped to clean up the dialogue and other parts of the location recordings.
