Brief Provide picture and audio post for the 6 x 30-minute sitcom about a maintenance man with an uncanny ability to mimic voices.
How it was done Halo’s Ross Baker graded the show on the Nucoda Film Master.
The series was shot with an Arri Alexa at 4444 Log C, which increased Baker’s ability to isolate individual colours.
The grade reflected main character Martin Hurdle’s emotions, with the scenes of day-to-day life given a subtle desaturated look.
This was punctuated by sequences of colour when Martin escapes from his mundane world by mimicking the voices of well-known figures.
Halo’s Sam Castleton provided FX and dialogue editing, with the final mix completed on Avid Pro Tools v10.
Halo’s Alan Jones completed the online edit using Nitris.
