How Blue Zoo animated a bumble bee with a funky hair cut for CBeebies.

Client: Red Bee Media for CBeebies
Brief: To animate the EcoBeebies Bee, an initiative designed to get young minds tuned in to all things to do with the environment.
How it was done: The Bee was modelled in 3D and then animated and rendered in Maya. The "Shave and a Haircut" plug-in made by Joe Alter Inc was used to achieve the Bee's funky-style hair. The final renders were then graded and composited using After Effects.
