Sumners launches agency

Manchester post-production facility Sumners has launched a freelance talent agency aimed at supplying post and production crews, primarily to sport and children's programming.

"SUMtalent is ostensibly about putting editors in touch with producers and production staff in touch with local jobs, but with the launch of MediaCity:UK in mind we are also developing a crew database," explained Sumners managing director Andrew Sumner.

Former BBC production manager Sue Fletcher heads the unit.
