Post facility Wave has expanded its Soho base with the addition of two new audio suites.

The audio specialist has increased capacity from seven to nine studios after acquiring space on the ground floor of its premises.

Co-founder Johnnie Burn said the expansion was part of the firm’s efforts to broaden its capabilities.

“We’ve opened a gaming division, and more TV would be a bonus too.”

Both of the White Mark designed rooms have Nuendo sound design capability and are equipped with new Fairlight Evo workstations and Genelec monitoring.

The new rooms have also been linked to a central server for access to a sound library with some 500,000 sound effects.

Wave’s recent credits include promotional work for the BBC and Sky, as well as high-profile film and commercial work.
