Trust in media rises
Almost half the UK's population trust the media more than the government, according to a poll by the BBC and Reuters. The survey, conducted with US think-tank The Media Centre, found 47% of Britons trusted the media more than their government, lower than the international figure of 61% but up on the UK result of 29% four years ago.
