Two former senior members of Sony UK’s technical team have joined broadcast equipment supplier CVP.

Phil Myers has been appointed as CVP’s head of technology while Dominic Smye-Rumsby is the group’s new technical services manager.

Myers’ CV includes a stint as an NLE product specialist at Pinnacle. He started his career as an editor.

Smye-Rumsby has worked for service operation repairers PIKS Video Engineering and OB dry hire specialist FinePoint Broadcast.
