What atmosphere do you want to achieve at Rapid & Radiant?

We hope to operate very much like a family. We want staff to enjoy coming to work and take pride in what they do, while working to the highest standards.

How do you identify talent and develop staff?

We hire staff with a passion to work in post-production. We recruit from a variety of areas, including job sites, social media and a CV database built up from candidates who have emailed us. We also rely on staff recommendations.

Do you offer formal training?

We provide structured training for junior and entry level members of staff or those moving up through the company. If external training is required, it is provided.

Do you offer flexible working?

It has always been offered. Postlockdown, our technical departments and creatives have more flexibility to work remotely. We have invested in better infrastructure, which allows our staff to work more efficiently, giving them access to everything they need to do their job as if they were in the office.

How do you ensure you have a motivated workplace, especially after failures?

All we ask is if someone makes a mistake, they let us know so we can fix it as a team. We believe there is no need to dwell on it, just find a solution.

How have you made your office Covid-safe?

We were grateful to UK Screen Alliance for its guidance when the pandemic hit. Senior management consulted with staff, sharing our risk assessments. Our team members know best how to do their job and were innovative when it came to adapting suites.
