Dish alum joins Great American Media

Great American Media has hired Jennifer Ihrke as vice president of content partnerships and distribution.

Ihrke will expand the company’s content acquisition, distribution and strategic marketing partnerships across Great American Media’s portfolio.

She reports to Kristen Roberts, chief revenue officer and exec vice president of programming for Great American Media.

Most recently, Ihrke was director of programming for Fathom Entertainment. Her career also includes key roles at Dish, AT&T Sports Networks, and National CineMedia.

 

Pop Culture Jeopardy! moves from Prime Video to Netflix

Netflix has landed a second season of Sony Pictures Television’s Pop Culture Jeopardy!, following its first run on Prime Video.

The series is a twist on the classic quiz show’s ‘answer-and-question’ format that combines the academic rigor of Jeopardy! with pop culture.

It is produced by SPT and exec produced by Michael Davies, with a premiere in 2026 slated.

 

Home.Made.Nation expands Rachael Ray pact 

A+E Global Media has expanded its programming partnership with culinary personality Rachael Ray and Free Food Studios, the US company’s joint venture with Intentional Content and Ray.

A+E has ordered 110 new episodes of programming including new series of Meals in Minutes, with production beginning this autumn. Episodes will air across the Home.Made.Nation multiplatform lifestyle programming block on A&E and FYI in 2026.

A+E Global Media initially launched its joint venture with Ray in 2024 developing over 200 episodes across various series within the culinary realm.

Home.Made.Nation is A+E’s cross-network, cross-platform hub for lifestyle programming, currently available on A&E, FYI and A+E’s FAST channels.
