Marco Bassetti, Edward Berger, Jane Tranter and Anna Marsh among line-up for October edition

Banijay chief exec Marco Bassetti, Conclave director Edward Berger, Bad Wolf’s Jane Tranter and StudioCanal boss Anna Marsh have been lined up for Italian conference and market MIA.
Joining the quartet at the Rome-based event will be Raj Singh, co-founder and chief exec of investment firm Media Capital Technologies (MCT), who is appearing as part of the European Investment Hub strand.
Sessions will delve into the financial tools supporting the audiovisual industry, with European institutions, public and private funds, banks, investors and international operators set to attend.
The event is also moving into the Hotel Westin Excelsior, which will host the Film & Drama Hub, offering pitching forums, showcases, panels and presentations dedicated to film and series, as well as meeting spacefor networking.
The InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace, located on Via Veneto, will host the documentary hub, while Hotel Sina Bernini Bristol will act as the animation hub.
MIA, which runs 19-23 October, is supported by the Italian Association of Film, Audiovisual and Digital Industries (ANICA) and the Italian Audiovisual Producers Association (APA).
