Most Wanted heads to France

M6 in France has ordered a local version of Talpa Studios’ high-stakes reality chase Most Wanted.

The adaptation, which will also become available on streamer M6+, follows celebrities going on the run after escaping a high-security prison.

Co-created by Talpa Studios and Signal.Stream, the format will air in France under the title Wanted: Catch Me If You Can and is being produced by M6’s in-house production unit Studio 89.

Remakes have already been ordered in the Netherlands, Germany and Hungary.

 

BBC orders Jesus series from Wonderhood

The BBC has ordered a landmark religion series about the life of Jesus Christ from Wonderhood Studios.  

The as-yet unnamed four-parter will draw on testimony recorded in the Gospel accounts, as well as historical research, archaeological discoveries and technological innovation, to understand the turbulent world Jesus inhabited and the foundations of the movement he inspired.  

It will be filmed in the Holy Land and will feature contributions from major Christian thinkers, and Jewish and Muslim faith leaders. Read more
