Love It or List It lands in Poland

Polish broadcaster Super Polsat has greenlit a local adaptation of property format Love It or List It.

The show is being produced by Banijay Entertainment’s Endemol Shine Poland and will be known as Pokochaj lub Sprzedaj.

Originally created by Big Coat Media and distributed by Banijay Rights, Love It or List It became the highest-rated show on HGTV in the US with over 60 series produced across multiple territories.

The format was recently adapted by Screentime New Zealand for TVNZ, while local versions are also on air in North America, Quebec, UK, Australia, and Finland.

ProSiebenSat.1 revenues dip but profits rise

Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 has posted Q2 revenues of €768m, down almost 9% on the same period last year.

The broadcast giant’s entertainment revenues hit €500m, down from €520m in Q2 2025, but EBITDA was up €111 to €80m. The Commerce and dating segment saw revenues dip 16% to €269m, with a loss of €2m.

Across the first half of 2026, ProSieben reported total revenues of €1.54bn (£1.30bn), blaming a weak TV ad market and the lack of rights to the World Cup blamed on the 8.9% year-on-year decline.

EBITDA over the first six months was up to €124m however, partly as a result of job cuts that have seen staffing costs fall almost 25% on the same time last year to now stand at €299m.

South Pacific comedy snags The Office US star 

Rainn Wilson, who played Dwight Schrute in The Office US, has been attached to relationship series Settling.

Wilson will be the voice-over for the South Pacific Pictures 6 x 60-minute series, which debuts on Sky New Zealand’s Three and ThreeNow today.

All3Media International, soon to be integrated into Banijay Rights, is partnering with SPP on the series and handling global distribution.

The romantic comedic drama follows two disillusioned 30-somethings as they carry out their teenage pact – a platonic marriage – to satisfy family and society’s expectations. It is written by Hannah Marshall and Pax Assadi.

HBO joins BBC1’s Tudor drama 1536

HBO has boarded the upcoming BBC1 period drama 1536 as a co-producer.

It emerged in February that the BBC had ordered an adaptation of Ava Pickett’s West End play of the same name, with Riot Women indie Drama Republic as the producer.

The 6 x 30-minute series is set in Tudor England and tells the story of three working class women competing for the position of Queen after Anne Boleyn is killed. Pickett is adapting her play and serving as showrunner.

Molly Manners (One Day) has now been unveiled as the director and executive producer alongside additional executive producers Jude Liknaitzky, Roanna Benn, Rebecca de Souza and Chloe Beeson for Drama Republic, alongside Anna Ferguson for the BBC. Read more
