High Valley opened to buyers by ZDFS

ZDF Studios is taking drama series High Valley out to market, with the show written by acclaimed German author Juli Zeh and Lukas Becker.

The 6 x 45-minute drama is produced by ZDFS-owned Studio Zentral in co-production with Load Studios. Christian Zübert directs and cast includes Lili Epply, Joshua Hupfauer, Karoline Eichhorn and Heino Ferch.

The show is set against the backdrop of a renowned equestrian centre and follows a talented show jumper whose future in the sport is threatened after a fall.

Keshet Int'l preps drama duo for Mipcom

Keshet International (KI) is heading to Mipcom next month with six titles leading its slate, including action thriller The Escape and psychological drama Number One Fan.

Also on the slate are factual shows Disaster Decoded and Iran’s Most Wanted, as well as entertainment formats Elevator Pitch and Who Wants to Start?.

The Escape is an 8 x 60-minute series about a man trying to escape a cult deep in the Colombian jungle, with Reisdor Productions and SE Film Productions onboard for Keshet 12.

KI's other scripted stand-out is Number One Fan (4 x 60 minutes), produced by Clapperboard Productions for 5 in the UK.

WildBear unveils senior team

Australia's WildBear Entertainment has reshuffled its senior team, with eight execs taking key roles.

Under company co-founder and longtime chief exec Michael Tear, the team includes joint co-founder Serge Ou becoming head of creative services, while former ABC exec Alan Erson takes the newly created role of MD and head of premium TV.

Executive producer Craig Meade has been upped to head of international TV and Harriet Pike is chief strategy & growth officer, with the duo working with international partner Wild Thring Media to identify new commissioning opportunities.

Rounding out the new senior team are: Caroline Nicols, who becomes CFO; Matt Nightingale, who is head of production; and Miranda Kelly, now head of production finance.
