Blink’s space station goes global
Blink Films is behind a documentary about the International Space Station (ISS) for broadcasters in the US, Australia and France.
Terror on the Space Station, which will air as either a 2 x 60-minute series or a 90-minute single, recounts a series of near-catastrophic incidents aboard the ISS from the people who witnessed them. Astronauts and mission control insiders reveal the most terrifying moments they have faced onboard the ISS since its first crew boarded in November 2000.
Gas leaks, meteor strikes, docking disasters, colliding satellites, spacewalks, showers of space junk and the moment the ISS backflipped out of control are among the life-and-death stories that will feature in the film.
The doc will air on PSB in the US as Operation Space Station for its Nova strand, and will also broadcast France Télévisions and on SBS in Australia. It will receive a theatrical release in the UK. Read more
