The Television Corporation has ruled out appointing former BBC director general Greg Dyke as its new chairman. Dyke had been spoken of as a frontrunner for the post, now held by Michael Grade in an acting capacity, but TV Corp chief executive Jeff Foulser told Broadcast Dyke was too busy. Grade will step down on Sunday (16 May), the day before he starts as BBC chairman. TV Corp executive chairman Terry Bate resigned in March.
