‘The type of show which really understands and resonates with its audience’
Tiger Aspect Kids & Family, Zodiak Kids & Family France, Movimenti Productions & Monello Productions for CBBC
Super Happy Magic Forest combines quests, picnics, and frolics to create distinctive and funny stories which draw upon British fantasy fiction. Based on the award-winning book series by author and illustrator Matty Long, the colourful and beautifully animated show focusses on the five main heroes – a faun, a unicorn, a gnome, a fairy, and a mushroom.
Constantly learning, they combine their unique skillsets with enthusiasm and heart. Judges praised the charm each character brings to the show and particularly loved the family they come together to form. The stories are magical, educational and highly entertaining.
Its diverse British comedy cast, including Judi Love, Julian Barrett, Greg McHugh, Spencer Jones, Jules De Jongh, and Oliver Chris, helps to cement the charm of the show.
The show is immensely popular – on CBBC, Super Happy Magic Forest became the channel’s number three brand over Christmas. The brand also shows great flexibility, with commissioners from the UK, Italy, France, Germany, and Australia. The show has also branched out beyond the series, boasting four CBBC online quizzes and games, as well as its own popular platform game on Roblox.
