- BBC Production's science department is working on an Imax version of its hit documentary series, The Human Body, writes Tim Dams.

Made in association with BBC Worldwide, Discovery and the Science Museum in London, the 45-minute film is billed as a day in the life of the human body. It represents the BBC's first foray into Imax and could be the first in a series of giant screen productions

The Imax film is one venture in a new alliance between the BBC and the Science Museum. The agreement will see the corporation working with the museum on planning exhibitions while in turn the museum allows the BBC to draw on the expertise of its scientists.
