Reshuffle comes alongside WTFN-owned distributor appointing acquisitions and FAST exec
Australia’s Fred Media has appointed a former Amazon MGM exec as its APAC sales manager.
Jamie I joins the the WTFN Group-owned company immediately and replaces Jimmy Elkington, who is temporarily stepping away from the international TV industry.

She joins Fred Media from Amazon MGM after spending four years as vice president of Asia Pacific for its MGM International Television Distribution unit.
Prior to that, I held senior sales roles at ABC in Australia and for Red Arrow International (now Seven. One Studios International), based out of Hong Kong.
In related news, Anna Wooley - who previously worked across operations and marketing at Fred Media - is taking on the new role of acquisitions & FAST lead, acquiring content for linear sales by the Fred team, as well for Radar, WTFN’s digital distribution business.
WTFN chief commercial officer, Derek Dyson, said: “Jamie joins us with more than 20 years’ experience in the business and has an impeccable knowledge of APAC territories. We look forward to capitalising on this expertise – as well as her impressive network – to further grow our footprint in the region.”
Dyson, who oversees both Fred Media and Radar, added: “Since we launched our ‘total distribution’ strategy, creatively maximising content rights across all platforms and channels, we have bucked the trend and seen three years of growth, powered by Radar’s rapid evolution, a growing FAST business and strong results from linear sales.
“With new team members and new roles in place and some exciting developments ahead, we expect 2026 to be another strong year.”
