Banijay Rights has revealed further details about its senior exec team ahead of its combination with All3Media International.

Long-standing exec Matt Creasey becomes senior executive vice-president for the world excluding EMEA at Banijay Rights and remains based out of LA.

The appointment follows Banijay Entertainment’s merger with All3Media, which is in turn creating a distribution division with more than 250,000 hours in its catalogue.

Creasey - who had previously been exec vice-president of sales, co-productions & acquisitions for rest of world at Banijay Rights - will oversee a distribution team with outposts in LA, Miami, Sydney, Mumbai.

All3Media International offices in Singapore and New York are being closed, as part of a plan to align Banijay Entertainment’s production footprint with its sales operation.

He will lead sales, acquisitions and co-productions for a cross-section of territories, while also leading the roll-out of the newly combined global catalogue outside EMEA.

The move was widely expected and sees Creasey continuing to report into Banijay Rights chief exec, Cathy Payne. All3Media International’s chief exec, Louise Pedersen, stepped down last month.

Creasey joined Endemol’s global sales arm in 2006 as director of sales and distribution, remaining with the company as it became first Endemol Shine International and then Banijay Rights in 2019.

Payne said: “Banijay Entertainment was built on talent and content, and that DNA runs through our distribution business.

“From the outset, it has been essential my team works closely with the outstanding creatives and clients we partner with around the world, which is why we have always anchored them in complementary cities.

”As our catalogue grows and our slate of new IP strengthens, we continue to reinforce our premium global offering, and I have every confidence Matt, with his expansive experience and network, is ideally placed to continue to drive growth outside EMEA in this exciting new chapter.”

Details of the distribution division follow a handful of changes that have so far emerged in the wake of the deal.

Those include All3’s group director of corporate development Steven Brown and chief operating officer Sara Geater exiting, and Patrick Holland taking oversight of the UK, as revealed by Broadcast International. Banijay has also revealed its new-look team in Germany.
