Gabriella Carriere to work across streamer’s EMEA content operation in newly created role
Netflix has appointed Fremantle’s Gabriella Carriere to lead the streamer’s content strategy in three key European countries.

Carriere takes up the newly created role of director of content programming strategy & operations for Spain, Italy and France.
She reports into Lina Brounéus, Netflix’s vice president of content strategy for EMEA, who in turn reports into Europe chief Larry Tanz.
Carriere joins following a four-year spell at Fremantle, where she was group head of strategy and responsible for developing new routes to market, business models and monetisation opportunities.
She joined from Sky Italia where she had worked on strategy, and before that spent almost a decade in the energy sector at Edison.
Brounéus wrote on LinkedIn that Carriere’s “passion for content and her extensive experience” would be “a great fit” for Netflix.
“We’re incredibly happy to have her on board and excited about the expertise and energy she’s bringing to the team,” Brounéus added.
