US version of upcoming culinary format to be dubbed and subtitled for HBO Max, Discovery+ and networks
Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is to localise the US version of its cooking competition format 100 Cooks for its local networks and streamers Discovery+ and HBO Max in more than 30 territories.

100 Cooks is produced for Food Network US by Lando Entertainment and is hosted by former NFL player Terry Crews.
The show takes 100 home cooks as they attempt to complete culinary challenges in a bid to remain the sole survivor and win $250,000.
The first episode of 100 Cooks will premiere on Food Network in the US and will be available globally on Nick DiGiovanni’s YouTube channel.
The US show will then be localised into more than 15 languages via dubbing and subtitling, before becoming available on WBD outlets in EMEA, including on Food Network (UK) and TLC (France, Nordics, Poland, Hungary, Balkans, Romania).
The show will also be available to watch on HBO Max and discovery+ across majority of WBD’s international markets.
The show launches on Food Network in the US on 7 June, with Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) handling global format sales for broadcasters or streaming wanting locally produced versions.
Myriam Lopez-Otazu, senior vice president of international unscripted content & global networks at Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA, said: “We can’t wait to see how the show travels internationally, where our audiences remain hungry for big stakes, big personalities and authentic food storytelling.”
Andrew Zein, exec vice president of creative format development and sales at WBITVP, added: “Commissioners are still looking for big stakes entertainment and reality, and 100 Cooks delivers with every bite.”
