Foreign property show A Place in the Sun has been sold to broadcasters around the world by Electric Sky.
The Channel 4 show, made by Freeform Productions, has racked up nearly 400 hours of sales by distributor Electric Sky.
In Sweden, Viasat has acquired more than 220 hours including:
- A Place in the Sun Hotspots (3x60’)
- A Place in the Sun (series 1-6) (73x30’)
- A Place in the Sun: Home or Away (1-5) (185x60’)
In Australia, XYZnetworks-owned Lifestyle Channel has picked up three series of A Place in the Sun: Home or Away (105x60’).
In addition Belgian channel Vitaya has licensed series three of the Home or Away show (33x60’).
The most recent series, which aired this summer, drew an average consolidated audience of 1.1m (4.6%) in a Sunday 7pm slot.
