BBC America has signed a two-year deal that will allow it to cherry-pick 160 hours of programmes from Granada International's back catalogue of drama and comedy. The deal will give BBC America access to a range of Granada International's back catalogue as well as new programmes. The titles involved are yet to be confirmed, but the channel is believed to be interested in picking up Catherine Cookson adaptations, prostitution thriller Band of Gold, Cadfaeland Fortysomething.
