Overwhelming vote in favour of new management offer
ITN union members voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday (9 February) to accept a new package of terms and conditions, ending the threat of industrial action at ITN, writes Tara Conlan.

Planned action from Bectu and NUJ members had been suspended while the unions balloted members on proposals made by ITN management. The deal was hammered out during talks between unions and executives from ITN at conciliation service Acas at the end of January.

The settlement includes a 2.5 per cent pay rise, a limit on working hours and an increase in night shift payments.
