Virtual production company ARwall has launched a free app called ARFX Infinite Studio 2 that optimises generative AI to create professional video backdrops.
The release marks a major expansion of ARwall’s technology beyond studio-scale infrastructure, putting it into the hands of independent content creators worldwide.

The backdrop renders in real time, in-camera, with no post-production compositing required.
ARFX Infinite Studio 2 is available now as a free download on Windows and for the first time on iPhone and iPad via the Apple App Store.
The app also includes an expanding marketplace of pre-built, production-ready scenes.
The app creates sharper, more cinematic scenes from natural language prompts, compared to the previous release of the software. It is powered by the same visual production logic used in ARwall’s studio-scale LED Volume builds.
It is also quicker, going from prompt to a broadcast-ready backdrop in seconds, not minutes.
“For years, virtual production at this level required a stage, a render pipeline, and a budget most creators will never have. We built ARFX Infinite Studio 2 to change that.
