New options include Generate Sound Effects and Text To Avatar
Adobe has added a number of new tools to its Firefly generative AI video platform.
These include Generate Sound Effects, which allows users to layer in custom audio using just a prompt or with the addition of your voice to guide the timing and intensity, as well as Text To Avatar, which can turn scripts into avatar-led videos - with the avatars, accents and backgrounds chosen from a library. Both of these arrive in beta and claim to be commercially safe.
Other new tools include Enhance Prompt, which takes a user’s prompt and adds language that Firefly can better understand. In addition, videos can now be created in vertical, horizontal, or square aspect ratios, composition references can be uploaded, and a number of style presets, such as claymation, anime, line art, or 2D, have been added.
Another new option is Keyframe Cropping, where a user can upload their first and last frames, select how the image will be cropped, describe the scene, and Firefly will generate a video that fits the format.
As well as Adobe’s own tools, Luma AI’s Ray 2 and Pika 2.2 AI video models now become available in Generate Video, having previously been added to the Boards section of the platform. Meanwhile, Topaz’s Image and Video Upscalers and Moonvalley’s Marey have been added to Boards.
