Streamstar’s range of video streaming products have been added to JVC’s European distribution network following an extension of the companies’ strategic partnership.

Streamstar said the addition of its Webcast Case, Webcast Touch Pro and Webcast Prodigy products as well as its cloud services offering would give JVC customers “a complete, seamless, professional streaming production chain, from capture all the way through to delivery”.

Its products are compatible with JVC’s live streaming camcorders, including the GY-HM650E, 850E/CHE and 890E/CHE along with the new HD/4K GY-HM200E and GY-LS300CHE cameras which were unveiled last year.

JVC Professional European product manager Gustav Emrich said: “By adding Streamstar’s full range of live streaming solutions to our distribution network we’re empowering our customers to connect acquisition with distribution, ultimately streamlining the way they approach live productions to meet the demands of delivering high-quality content anytime, anywhere.”

Streamstar’s partnership with JVC Professional began in August last year with the distribution of free Streamstar Webcast LiTE IP software with JVC camcorders GY-HM650/850/890 and up to 150 hours of free streaming with Streamstar Cloud streaming service.

Streamstar chief executive Rado Toth added: “Our extended partnership means that affordable, easy-to-use and high quality end-to-end production workflows are now even more accessible and widely available throughout Europe.

“To make the streaming production process even smoother, we’re already working on new software developments that implement several camera control features into our products.”
