Lottie Wilson to move into distribution with Banijay Rights
BBC Studios acquisitions exec Lottie Wilson is joining Banijay Rights to lead its sales efforts down under.
From July, Wilson will become vice president for the distribution giant in Australia and New Zealand, where she will represent the company’s 205,000+ hour catalogue with a focus on finished tape exploitation.
She is currently head of acquisitions for branded services at BBC Studios ANZ, with a remit that sees her setting direction and strategy for the UK public broadcaster’s commercial arm.
Wilson will report to Lyle Bettson-Barker, senior vice president of Australia and New Zealand for Banijay Rights.
“With more than 15 years’ experience in the international television industry, Lottie is one of those rare executives with ample experience across sales, acquisitions and branded services,” Bettson-Barker said.
