Mullin, who has been in charge of RTL Group-owned Fremantle since 2018, will appear on stage with Scrosati to discuss the company’s production and distribution strategy

The appearance, which will also coincide with the 25th anniversary of Fremantle, will see the pair outline future growth plans across the group’s global footprint, while digging into its businesses in France, Europe and the US.

The session will form part of the Series Mania Forum and has been set for 25 March.

Fremantle has been highly acquisitive in recent years in a bid to achieve a €3bn (£2.51bn) revenue target, but that was pushed into the “mid-term” earlier this year.

The company has found success with shows such as Prime Video’s Maxton Hall, but has also been forced to trim its workforce, with staff laid off at shuttered Nightsleeper UK prodco Euston Films and the super-indie restructuring in the Nordics.

Fremantle parent, RTL Group, recently named former Warner Bros Discovery exec Clément Schwebig as its chief exec to replace outgoing Thomas Rabe, while the production firm reported a 5% revenue decline in the first nine months of 2025.

Mullin said: “Series Mania is one of the most important festivals in the global television calendar, and we are honoured to return in a year that marks a major milestone for Fremantle.

“This will be moment to reflect on how the industry continues to evolve, and how Fremantle has continually adapted, grown and innovated. Along with Andrea, we will reflect on our journey to date and share our vision for the future.”

Laurence Herszberg, founder and general director of Series Mania, said the duo’s “vision and insights will be invaluable for our attendees.”

Francesco Capurro, director of Series Mania Forum, added: “The Forum further establishes itself as the must-attend spring event for TV series professionals, bringing together A-list speakers, top buyers, leading producers and creatives from around the globe. This keynote session will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the event.”
