Shirley Bowers joined the RTL Group-owned firm in February 2022 from what was then Red Arrow Studios International (now Seven. One Studios International), where she worked for six years.

Prior to that, she had spells at Fox International Channels and Nat Geo as director of global content sales.

Bowers posted on social media: “In an industry where the only constant is change, it feels right to embrace a new chapter of my own.

“After a great run at Fremantle, I’ve wrapped up my time there and am turning my focus to what’s next,” she wrote, adding that she is exploring new opportunities “with people and companies who are pushing boundaries and reimagining the future of our industry.”

Fremantle’s slate includes scripted series Sullivan’s Crossing, Film Club, The Iris Affair and Hotel Costiera, alongside formats such as Pandora’s Box and factual shows like Police 24/7.
