Last Thing He Told Me to return

Apple TV is to roll out its second eight-part season of drama The Last Thing He Told Me in February 2026.

The show, starring and executive produced by Jennifer Garner, will debut 29 February and is based on Laura Dave’s upcoming novel The First Time I Saw Him.

Showrunners are Josh Singer and Aaron Zelman, who exec produce with Hello Sunshine’s Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter. 20th TV produce the show, which debuted its first season in 2023.

 

High Horse to run on Peacock 

Peacock is preparing to launch a three-part documentary that aims to explore the story of the Black cowboy.

High Horse: The Black Cowboy is being executive produced by Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and explores a largely untold story of the Wild West.

The show will debut on 20 November and is being produced in association with Universal Television Alternative Studio. Jason Perez directs.

 

C4 exec joins UK podcast giant 

The UK’s biggest podcast group Platform Media has appointed Channel 4’s Jodie Miles in the newly created role of commercial director, Broadcast can reveal.

She will head up the partnerships team, who create podcast partnerships and branded entertainment campaigns. Platform is behind podcasts including The Traitors: Uncloaked.

Miles has spent the past five years at C4, most recently as senior lead at creative partnerships arm Partner Lab, leading the team to deliver campaigns across branded entertainment, TV, streaming and sponsorship. Read more
