Slow Horses to return for Apple

Apple TV has extended Gary Oldman-starring drama Slow Horses into an eight season.

The See-Saw Films drama has been handed a six-episode order, with the show adapted from Clown Town, the ninth novel in Mick Herron’s Slough House book.

The order comes ahead of the premiere of S6 on 16 September, while a seventh season was announced last year.

Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Douglas Urbanski, Adam Randall, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Gail Mutrux, Billy Bowring, Helen Gregory, Mick Herron and Oldman are EPs. Ben Vanstone is adapting, with Randall set to return as director.

Tilly Norwood set for interview

Particle 6 is opening its AI performer Tilly Norwood to live public conversation from 16 to 19 September

AI production company Particle 6 is making “AI actor” Tilly Norwood available for anyone to talk to for a limited period of time.

From noon BST on Wednesday 16 September to 8am on Sunday 19 September, it will possible to have a live interview with Tilly Norwood.

Particle 6 says that you can “ask her anything, make her laugh or even disagree with her - there’s no script and no pre-written answers. Just don’t expect much success if you try to drag her into politics, explicit conversations or intrusive questions about her private life”.

RTL exec becomes ProSieben CFO

ProSiebenSat.1 Media has appointed Ingrid Heisserer as its group CFO.

She succeeds Bob Rajan, who has been interim group CFO since October, and will continue until Heisserer assumes her new position.

Heisserer most recently served as CFO and chief human resources officer at RTL Deutschland.

Prior to that, she spent more than two decades at L’Oréal.
