Eight out of 10 viewers pick BBC1 for World Cup final
The World Cup final between France and Italy, shown live on both ITV1 and BBC1 on Sunday (9 July), hit a combined peak audience of 21.2 million - just over a third of the entire population of the UK - at 9.15pm.
