Canadian cable network Slice has set a launch date for FremantleMedia's locally-produced version of US reality hit Project Runway.

Produced by Toronto-based Insight Production, Project Runway will debut as part of Slice's fall 2007 season. The network is already the exclusive broadcaster of the US series, along with Sky One's UK version, Project Catwalk, a second season of which will debut on Slice this March.

Developed by Miramax and The Weinstein Company, Project Runway has been a record-breaking success for Bravo in the US, with the third season finale attracting the network's highest ever ratings.

To date, Fremantle Media Enterprises has sold the original US show to over 100 countries.
