White brings almost 30 years of experience across major productions including Marvel titles, Avatar and Harry Potter films

Bluebolt VFX supervisor

BlueBolt has appointment VFX supervisor Ben White.

He joins BlueBolt from the Cinesite group where he was VFX supervisor on projects including Marvel’s Black Widow, Loki and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Apple TV’s The Family Plan. 

White has almost 30 years experience across large-scale productions including Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Guardians of The Galaxy, Avatar, Man of Steel, Where The Wild Things Are and several Harry Potter movies.

He was also CG supervisor on The Dark Knight, overseeing the creation of the iconic Two Face character.

White has won a British Independent Film Award for ‘Best Effects’ for The Ritual as well as two VES Awards, including for ‘Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project’ for his work as VFX supervisor on Fast and Furious: Supercharged.

His CV includes roles at Framestore and MPC, and he begun his career at The Mill Film where he was part of the Oscar-winning team on Ridley Scott’s Gladiator.

BlueBolt’s recent credits include Outlander Season 8 (Starz); Amadeus (Sky); Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale; The Thursday Murder Club, A Thousand Blows seasons one and two, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning and Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu.

The studio is currently in production on projects including Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights.
