Harbor appoints Duke to head of VFX features & episodic

Harbor has hired Danny Duke as its head of VFX features and episodic.

Duke joins the company after almost a decade at Absolute Post as production director and head of film and TV, where he oversaw work on the likes of Poor Things, How To Have Sex, The Buccaneers, Boiling Point, Great Expectations, Sweetpea and Adolescence. Duke has also worked in senior roles at Outpost VFX. 

Harbor’s VFX division launched two years ago, and Duke will work alongside VFX producer Paul McCullough, commercial teams across Harbor’s global network and the team of artists to continue its expansion. It currently has a team of more than 40 artists delivering over 100 shots across feature and episodic productions, and has worked on the likes of the BBC’s The Capture and Sky’s Sweetpea. 

Duke will be based in Harbor’s Farringdon studio, but will also work with its facilities in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta.
