Roundtable Post has launched a package of services aimed at the independent scripted film market, and recruited Justin Lanchbury as sales director to focus on scripted growth.

The post house will provide independent filmmakers with access to VFX partners, in-house staff at Roundtable, as well as a “handpicked roster of top-tier colourists, sound designers, and mixers”.

On the finance side, Roundtable is offering SPV and tax credit structuring support, designed with indie producers in mind. It also has a network of financiers to help with film financing.

Managing director Ben Coulson explains: “We’ve delivered hundreds of theatrical films in the £1–10m range and what we’ve learned is that success doesn’t come from squeezing projects into one-size-fits-all models—it comes from creative deal-making, flexibility, and focusing resources where they matter most.”

Roundtable says it begins conversations with clients with the question: “How do we help get this film made?”

Coulson adds: “We’re not just a post house. We’re solution finders, partners, and facilitators. Our goal is to get great films finished, no matter the pressure.”

As part of the launch of its package of services, Roundtable has appointed Justin Lanchbury as sales director, with a focus on scripted growth.

Lanchbury has 20+ years’ experience helping scripted projects get financed, made, and delivered.

Coulson said: “Justin understands what it takes to get scripted projects off the ground and across the line. He shares our belief that the best way to support producers is by being flexible, proactive, and deeply solution-focused.”

Lanchbury adds: “I’m thrilled to be joining Roundtable at such a pivotal moment. This new offering gives scripted productions the tools and support they need to push creative boundaries while staying on budget. Delivering premium results under pressure is something Ben and the team have quietly perfected over the years, and I’m excited to help bring that expertise to more film and TV drama clients.”
