Residence Pictures appoints Emma Ibbetson as executive VFX producer

Residence Pictures has taken on Emma Ibbetson as executive VFX producer.  

Ibbetson was previously head of production at Nineteentwenty, where she led VFX delivery across the company’s film and episodic arm.

She has also held the position of senior VFX producer at Territory Studio, where she played a key role in developing the company’s VFX department, overseeing major projects as well as training and mentoring the wider production team. 

Ibbetson’s CV also includes stints at One Of Us and Smoke & Mirrors. Her credits include David Fincher’s Mank, Joe Wright’s Anna Karenina and more recently Renegade Nell.

Resident’s recent work includes the second season of the BBC’s We Might Regret This, upcoming BBC series The Split Up, the reboot of Lynley for the BBC, and Elena Anreicheva’s Intelligence Rising, which premiered earlier this year at the Copenhagen International Film Festival and SXSW London.
