Splice has hired Lauren Andrew as its head of scripted post.

Andrew previously spent over 14 years with Picture Shop, first as a producer before becoming head of production by the time she left.

At Splice, she will be responsible for driving best practices across scripted projects, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the company’s continued growth in high-end drama and post services.

Andrew said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Splice and reconnecting with some of the incredibly talented people I’ve had the pleasure of working with in the past. Even in my short time here, I already feel a strong sense of belonging. The welcoming, collaborative culture at Splice is inspiring, and I’m excited to contribute to our shared vision of creating and delivering more award-winning scripted work”

Richard Folley, managing director of Splice commented: “Lauren’s appointment reflects the ongoing work we are doing to ensure we are delivering scripted content to the highest creative and technical standards while continuing to provide best-in-class service to our clients. While our recent Emmy nominations for Adolescence speak to the strength of our creative teams, we’re also focused on surrounding those teams with exceptional leadership and experience — and Lauren fits that brief perfectly.

“At Splice, we build expert teams who share our values and commitment to quality. I’m also proud that our recent senior appointments have included many incredible women in key leadership roles. I am incredibly excited to have Lauren on board and privileged to be working alongside her.”

Duncan Western, founder of Splice, said: “We are delighted that Lauren has come on board bringing her wealth of knowledge and relationships to head up our strong and expanding scripted slate”
