Post-production facility Splice has strengthened its team with five high-profile hires – all recruited from The Farm – as the company caps a major expansion of its facilities

Splice has made a number of senior hires, taking on senior Flame artist Stef Henley; senior colourist Alex Chernoff; senior re-recording mixer Steve Speed; sales director Ed Smalley; and executive post-producer Milena Cave.
All new recruits at Splice joined from The Farm.
Ed Smalley said: “We’re thrilled to be joining the Splice family. Its reputation for excellence in post-production, combined with its ambition and creative approach, made this a natural fit for us. We’re really excited about what we can achieve together and about bringing our clients and relationships into such a strong creative environment.”
Splice managing director Richard Folley added: “We are clear about our culture and approach. We are a creatively led facility, already delivering award-winning scripted and unscripted work across the globe. This group of exceptional talent, whom I know well, complements our team, our work and our clients perfectly. This growth in expertise and creativity will allow us to continue delivering outstanding content to our production and network partners, while ensuring a world-class post-production journey.
“We also have a strong belief in how we work: supportively, transparently and collaboratively. The group brings all of those qualities. I’m enormously excited about the future of Splice and the team.”
Splice founder and creative director Duncan Western, said: “Having run Splice independently for 25 years, it’s been an incredible journey watching the company grow and evolve. We’ve recently completed a major expansion of our facilities, creating one of the best post-production spaces in London. Naturally, our next step was to bring even more brilliant talent into the mix.
“I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead. With this new team on board, we’re in a fantastic position to embrace it.”
