SMG boss' pay breaks£500,000 barrier

Andrew Flanagan, chief executive of SMG, owner of Scottish TV, Grampian TV and Virgin Radio, saw his pay rise to£562,000, from last year's£476,000, according to the company's annual report. Donald Emslie, the chief executive of SMG Television, had a 35% boost in his pay and received£311,000, up from£230,000 in 2002. ...
