Avid acquired Wolftech and its news broadcasting platform in 2024
Avid has integrated its MediaCentral and Wolftech News products into a single platform.
The company acquired Wolftech and its news broadcasting software in 2024, and the combined offering is now available commercially after first being revealed to the industry at NAB 2025.
Brought together under MediaCentral Cloud UX, the platform will now offer planning, story-writing, media production, and resource management in one product - with these tools available from any location.
