The awards, which celebrate the creative use of technology in production and post-production, will take place on 26 November 2026 at The Brewery, London

Broadcast Tech Awards 2025 (1)

The entry deadline for the Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards 2026 has been extended by one week, to Friday 25 September.

The qualifying period continues to be the same, running from 22 September 2025 - 18 September 2026. The deadline has been extended to give those who have started their entries some more time to complete them after a busy summer and early September, as well as give an opportunity to those who haven’t been able to start yet.

New categories for 2026 include Young Talent of the Year (Production), sponsored by Netflix, Best AI Tool and Best Tech for Content Creators, as well as Best Studio Build. There are also the popular regular categories such as Excellence in Grading (with Scripted and Non-Scripted categories), Excellence in Audio Post-Production (Scripted and Non-Scripted), Excellence in VFX, Best Use of Archive, Standout Tech of the Year (Post-Production and Production categories) and more.

The winners will be revealed at a gala dinner held at The Brewery, London, on 26 November, with 500 attendees from across the industry coming together to celebrate the best creative uses of technology in production and post-production.

After the final entry deadline on 25 September, shortlists will be drawn up for each category and then announced, before the winners are then decided by a panel of judges from across the industry. Senior figures from Netflix, Disney, the BBC, ITV, Banijay, and more will judge entries to the awards, which are now in their eighth year. The awards are sponsored by Netflix, EIZO and Gravity Media. To find out more about sponsorship opportunities at the Awards, click here.
