CVP has appointed Stuart Dennis as sector development manager, to lead the development of a new division focused on supporting independent content creators.

CVP is aiming to target mirrorless videographers, hybrid photo/video shooters, self-shooting producers, and those in search of accessible studio and streaming solutions.

As part of the move, CVP is creating a dedicated physical space at its Charlotte Street showroom (The Creator Hub) to try to position the company as a leading destination for the next generation of content creators.

Dennis has 18 years of experience in the pro video industry, with what CVP describes as a deep understanding of the needs of freelance camera operators, independent filmmakers, production companies, and broadcasters.

He previously led the professional video division at Wex Photo Video.

Jon Fry, CEO, CVP, said: “Stuart brings a wealth of experience and insight that will be instrumental as we continue to expand our offering for the growing creator economy. As technology evolves at pace, it’s crucial to have someone who not only understands the tools but also the real-world pressures faced by today’s content creators. His expertise and expertise will be a strong asset as we continue to support this dynamic and increasingly important part of our customer base.”

Dennis adds: “Supporting creators with the right tools and insight has always been at the heart of what I do. Joining CVP is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a company that genuinely understands the evolving needs of modern creatives. With its focus on innovation and community, CVP is uniquely positioned to shape the future of content creation — and I’m looking forward to playing a role in that evolution.”
